Sneak Peek: Rainy Days

Above are test knits for a pattern that I am working on- it will be one pattern with five different main image options. The ones shown above are the Sparrow and the Owl. I am also planning on making charts for a tree, a locus flower and a butterfly. The pattern will come in four sizes: child, small adult, medium adult, and large adult.

  1. I love the hats and am curious to see what other designs you’ve got in mind for them. The owl could be tweeked into a penguin as well as a lemur… My daughter and her friends are all about the ‘awesome face’, it would be fun to see your interpretation of that one!

  2. I like the designs and your choices of other images. Any Ideas for an adult hate with a skull? I wouldn’t make one for a child but some teenages and adults would like it. Some people might like different flowers also. Just a thought.

  3. These are charming designs. The dove is perfectly placed on the cap. The owl’s body looks a wee bit too short, and it isn’t as owly as it could be–looks somewhat like a cat or a lemur. If you elongate the body and give him less shoulder, he’ll look more like an owl.

Lemme know what you think!
